Giant Pandas play a significant role in the ecosystem. Firstly, while they eat bamboo, they also spread the bamboo seeds around their place that means that they increase the amount of bamboo forests that helps create a green area (Answers). Secondly, every single panda is all in search of food, so they always make sure that they have enough food for themselves and their fellows (Answers). Finally, their living habit associated with the old-growth forest. So as to protect their place, they also protect the forests (Zejun Zhang).
